A Memoir and Devotional

In the deep of night when anguish fills your soul and tears saturate your pillow it's difficult to recognize the work that is taking place within. But as time moves when our hearts begin to heal, we notice that something has changed about us.

Treasures of Darkness is the story of my journey through grief and loss. It is the story of how our losses can challenge our faith and bring out part of ourselves we didn't know existed.  It is the story of sliding down the slippery slope of despair and desperation to the point of death and then hearing a voice that changes everything.

 

It is the story of frustration and failure, of confusion and anger, of waiting and wailing, of miracles and healing and of finding the God I never genuinely trusted in deepest and darkest time of my life.
